It may be in the middle of the summer season right now, but you can have a taste of icy partying every Wednesday night at Imperial Ice Bar! For a moment there, I thought I was transported to Russia. One literally enters a room made out of ice, complete with a bar and blocks of ice as bar stools. Of course, coats are provided at the door in this sub-zero climate. I was told that the best drink to order is a Bacardi vodka to warm up the blood. Now, this is what I call chilling!

For those who would rather dance and sweat it out, a separate room consisting of a DJ booth turns hot as the night gets deeper. I couldn't help but dance in step to the beat provided by the coolest DJ's in town. Every Wednesday, they have DJ Rico Arce and Funk Avy. At midnight, two ledge dancers starts strutting their stuff, to the delight of the audience. Nothing sleazy, but good, clean fun.

Hash tagged as #CoolestSummerEver, it truly lives up to its title. The Fort Strip, where the bar is located, fills up even in the middle of the week. A mixture of the young and urban working class, its patrons come out to enjoy with friends, dance and literally chill. Woohoo Wednesdays is really something to experience!
