The Lee Hak Korean Barbecue Experience

Korean "barbecue-ing" is a one-of-a-kind gastronomic adventure. Meaty pork, chicken, beef, seafood or even some vegetables are being grilled right at your table.  A built-in gas or charcoal based grill is installed complete with an exhaust pipe, making diners enjoy the art of grilling and eating.

Seafood barbecue.
I was invited by Ron Villagonzallo of, who was excited to share his latest gastronomic discovery.  Off I went to find Lee Hak Korean Restaurant, located in Pioneer Center, along Pioneer Street in Kapitolyo, Pasig City.  I was pleasantly surprised with the spacious interior.  The restaurant has two floors, with a couple of VIP rooms for private functions.  The decor was nice with a fusion of Korean and Japanese influences.

We were pleasantly greeted by the restaurant's supervisor, Mr. Emil Castihan, who took care of our group from walking us to our table to serving food and cooking at our table, enjoying the chat at the same time.

Raw seafood and chicken.

We chose the meat and seafood vegetables in the menu, which included delicious appetizers.  Servings were large and is good for 3 to 4 people.  Eat all you can barbecue starts at only Php 499 per person.

Spacious dining area.
