“With its rich heritage and impact on contemporary culture, MINI is more than the car – it is also a lifestyle that celebrates the connections between people, as well as the passion for life,” said Mr. Willy Tee Ten, President of MINI Philippines and Autohub Group of Companies. “It gives us great pleasure to bring together the growing MINI community in one place to celebrate this storied brand. We thank all MINI fans for journeying with us, and together, we look forward to the next 60 years!”

Fans and friends of MINI were treated to a weekend that was designed to delight and surprise brand aficionados at every turn. Upon their arrival at the Central Plaza, guests were greeted with a special line-up of classic MINI cars.

The Eastwood City Walk was transformed into a MINI showroom with a fun twist over the weekend.

It was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity as the classic cars provided a unique backdrop for guests as they got up close with the modern MINI models in the heart of the event – the MINI Monte Carlo, MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, MINI Clubman, and the MINI Convertible.

An old school classic, that never grows old.
Guests then took a walk down memory lane with the MINI History wall, showcasing the rich heritage of MINI and key brand milestones. Highlights include the legendary sketch of the Mini concept by car designer Sir Alec Issigonis, the brand’s momentous triumph at the Monte Carlo Rally, as well as its presence on television as the Bean mobile in the world-beloved sitcom Mr. Bean. The star of the weekend was the MINI 60 Years Edition, the exclusively designed anniversary model to commemorate six decades of passion and driving fun.

The launch of the MINI 60 Years Edition kicked off with a heartwarming video of MINI owners sharing memories about their beloved cars, as well as stories about the close-knit MINI community in the Philippines.

After the MINI 60 Years Edition was unveiled, a live art mural painting session began by renowned local artist Frances Dandan. In line with the brand's signature creative use of space, the back walls of the MINI Clubman car displays served as canvasses for the artist, who took 5 hours to complete the murals.

Throughout the weekend guests were treated to exciting activities such as a magic performance, acoustic acts from local musicians, a special MINI photo booth to memorialize their time at the MINI 60 Years Event, as well as games and raffles conducted by MINI Philippines.
