The 21st Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Takes Off at Clark Airfield


Coloring the skies with specially-designed hot air balloons is the thing to see this month.  Thursday, February 9 marked the opening of this one-of-a-kind event at the OMNI Aviation at the Clark Airfield.  The Philippine International 21st Hot Air Balloon Fest will fly until Sunday, February 12, 2017.





There was a total of 17 hot air balloons, proudly buffing up in different shapes, colors and sizes to the delight of the crowd.  The opening salvo started with a sky jumper holding a Philippine flag, followed by aero paragliders, impressing the young and the young at heart.

The airfield was teeming with food booths and merchandise on everything aerontic. This is also the perfect place for kite lovers to fly their wind-blown joy. There is also the grand stage with daily shows and special guest performances.
